Greenply Industries partners with GreenLine for LNG-powered logistics

Greenply Industries Limited has partnered with GreenLine Mobility Solutions Ltd to integrate LNG-powered trucks into its outbound logistics operations. The partnership was officially launched with a flag-off ceremony at Greenply’s manufacturing facility in Vadodara.

Under this initiative, Greenply will utilize GreenLine’s green logistics network to transport products from its Vadodara plant to various locations across its distribution network. The move aims to extend the company’s sustainability efforts from manufacturing into the transportation and distribution phases of its value chain.

GreenLine reports that its LNG-powered trucks can significantly reduce emissions compared to conventional diesel vehicles, with potential reductions of up to 40% for CO2, 100% for SOx, 59% for NOx, 91% for particulate matter, and 70% for CO, depending on specific operating conditions and fuel quality. Greenply intends to evaluate the operational feasibility of this alternative-fuel transportation across its dispatch network to inform future mobility solutions.
