GreenSTEM project launches to boost STEM and green economy innovation

The GreenSTEM project, an international initiative funded with nearly two million euros, has launched its first in-person meeting in Turkey. Coordinated by the Social and Economic Research Center of Sakarya University (SESAM), the project aims to strengthen innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities within European higher education institutions, specifically focusing on STEM fields and the green and circular economy.

The International Agro-food Center of Excellence (ceiA3) is participating in the project by contributing expertise in agro-food innovation, knowledge transfer, and university-business connections. ceiA3 will focus on developing content related to circular bioeconomy, biorefineries, the valorization of agro-food waste, and sustainable food systems, while leveraging its links to the EIT Food ecosystem.
