Greetsiel children's house and Lübeck solar park announce upcoming openings

The Lükko-Leuchtturm-Kinderhaus in Greetsiel will implement new opening hours following the summer holidays. From September 7 to October 9, 2026, the facility will be open on Fridays from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM, and on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

In Lübeck, the Solarthermiepark Moisling is scheduled to open to the public for the first time on October 2, 2026. Stadtwerke Lübeck will host free guided tours between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM to demonstrate how solar energy is converted into heat for the local district heating network. The facility utilizes 788 solar thermal collectors covering approximately 12,500 square meters and includes a 3,000 cubic meter storage unit, covering roughly 11.7 percent of the heating demand in Moisling.
