France: YouTuber Greg Guillotin admits to domestic violence
French YouTuber and comedian Greg Guillotin has publicly admitted to committing physical and psychological violence against his former partner. Following a complaint filed in June 2026 with the prosecutor in Evry, Guillotin issued a statement expressing shame and apologizing to his ex-partner. The complaint alleges a pattern of domestic violence, harassment, and surveillance occurring between 2019 and 2026, including incidents in France, the Maldives, and Morocco.
Guillotin stated, “I will neither deny nor seek to justify them. I am ashamed,” noting that he has been receiving psychiatric and psychological support to address these behaviors. While the prosecutor's office indicated that an investigation had been opened, the legal process is ongoing.
Separately, Gisèle Pelicot, who gained international recognition following the Mazan rape trial, has expressed a desire to reconnect and dialogue with her ex-husband, Dominique Pelicot, in prison. Pelicot described this potential meeting as a step in her personal reconstruction and a sign that she has moved past her anger and hatred.
