Greg Hsu stars in sci-fi CeraVe campaign featuring prosthetic hand

Actor Greg Hsu has released a six-second teaser for a new science fiction-themed campaign for CeraVe. The advertisement features a cinematic desert setting reminiscent of the film ‘Dune’ and utilizes a high-budget, 1:1 scale technological replica of Hsu’s own hand to showcase skin texture and lines.

During filming, Hsu was directed to perform an emotional scene involving physical interaction with the prosthetic hand. Hsu described the experience of “teasing his own hand” as a unique and unusual professional encounter.

In addition to the campaign, Hsu shared his personal skincare routine, noting that he relies on CeraVe moisturizing lotion to protect his skin against dry environments, such as air-conditioned rooms and different climates encountered during international travel.
