Greg LeMond makes new allegations against Lance Armstrong

Former cycling champion Greg LeMond has issued fresh accusations against Lance Armstrong in an interview with Le Télégramme. LeMond, a three-time Tour de France winner, claims that Armstrong engaged in behavior that went beyond doping, alleging that Armstrong attempted to destroy him personally and behind the scenes.

LeMond stated that he possesses information regarding Armstrong’s actions that he has not yet made public because it affects his family. He also criticized Armstrong’s treatment of other riders and suggested that Armstrong may have paid the UCI to avoid testing.

Reflecting on his own career, LeMond noted that the rise of EPO in the early 1990s broke his morale. He revealed that his suspicions regarding Armstrong intensified in 2000 after receiving information from a mechanic who had previously worked for Armstrong.
