Greg Moore Youth Centre celebrates 25 years

The Greg Moore Youth Centre (GMYC) in Maple Ridge is hosting a celebration on October 2 to mark its 25th anniversary. Since opening in 2001, the 16,000 square foot facility has served as a dedicated recreation space for young people to build skills and connections.

The center, named after a professional race car driver from Maple Ridge, offers various amenities including a rock-climbing wall, an indoor skateboard and scooter park, and a podcast room. The anniversary event will include an all-ages open house, remarks from members, and a barbecue, followed by a youth-focused celebration with games and prizes.
