Gregorio Moya performs at the 40th Spanish Poetry Encounter

Flamenco singer Gregorio Moya performed a recital during the fourth day of the 40th Spanish Poetry Encounter in Almagro, organized by the Ciudad Real Provincial Council. The event, held at the municipal theater, integrated flamenco music with the works of renowned Spanish poets including Federico García Lorca, Miguel Hernández, Rafael Alberti, and the Machado brothers.

Moya, who was named the 2025 Lámpara Minera winner at the Festival Internacional del Cante de las Minas de La Unión, premiered an unpublished song based on the verses of Vicente Cano, a poet from Argamasilla de Alba. The singer is currently preparing to record a new album that will feature more works by Cano and focus on the culture of La Mancha.
