Gregory Porter Performs at Opatija's Summer Stage, Attended by Former Sports Official

American jazz and soul singer Gregory Porter gave a standing‑ovation‑filled concert on the Ljetna pozornica in Opatija, Croatia. The show opened with “Revival Song” from his Grammy‑winning album *All Rise* and featured a set that included “Holding On,” “On My Way to Harlem,” “Liquid Spirit,” and a rendition of Sting’s “It’s Probably Me.” Porter’s band, highlighted by saxophone, piano, double‑bass and drums, received enthusiastic applause throughout the evening.

Among the audience were former Croatian Olympic Committee president Zlatko Mateša and his wife Blanka, who arrived in formal attire. Mateša, who recently stepped down after 24 years and was appointed to the board of Croatia Airlines, was seen enjoying the performance alongside other local guests. The concert underscored Porter’s blend of jazz, soul and gospel influences and marked a notable cultural event for the coastal town.
