Gregory Walker arrested for shooting of NFL player Keion White

Authorities have arrested 35-year-old Gregory Walker in connection with the February shooting of San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Keion White. The arrest was made by the Los Angeles Police Department’s Gang and Narcotics Division on a Friday morning.

The incident occurred on February 8 at Dahlia’s Lounge in San Francisco’s Mission District during a private Super Bowl afterparty hosted by White. Tensions reportedly escalated when rapper Lil Baby and his crew attempted to enter the exclusive event. Witnesses reported hearing gunshots, after which White was found with a gunshot wound to his ankle.

Walker faces charges of felony assault using a deadly weapon and a semiautomatic rifle. He is currently being held without bail. While the shooting followed an alleged dispute involving Lil Baby’s camp, authorities have not established a direct connection between the rapper and the ongoing criminal case against Walker. White has since undergone surgery and made a full recovery.
