Gremi Media terminates Bogusław Chrabota and Paweł Łepkowski
Gremi Media has announced significant personnel changes and structural reorganizations. Bogusław Chrabota, the former editor-in-chief of 'Rzeczpospolita' and current board advisor, and Paweł Łepkowski, editor of the 'Rzecz o Historii' supplement, have both received notices of termination. The notices were issued by Gremi Media President Wojciech Kuśpik, who also leads the majority shareholder, PTWP Group.
As part of the restructuring, the publisher is also discontinuing two quarterly publications: 'Uważam Rze Historia' and 'Rzeczpospolita Nauka'.
Chrabota, who led 'Rzeczpospolita' from 2013 to 2024, stated that he will continue to write articles for the publication during his three-month notice period. He indicated that he does not intend to leave the media market, noting, “I still have a lot to say.” An anonymous employee suggested that Chrabota had been increasingly marginalized from decision-making processes since PTWP took control of the publisher.
