Grendi Group and Dario Perioli integrate logistics in Marina di Carrara

One year after Grendi Group acquired a 70% stake in Dario Perioli S.p.A., the integration of the two companies is transforming the port of Marina di Carrara into a strategic logistics hub connecting Europe, Sardinia, and North Africa.

The collaboration combines Grendi’s ro-ro maritime lines and logistics network with Dario Perioli’s terminal services, customs expertise, and established North African connections. This synergy allows Grendi’s clients to access North African routes via Sahel Line (Tunisia) and CNAN Med (Algeria), while Perioli’s clients can utilize Grendi’s connections to Sardinia.

A key development is the establishment of a regular monthly ro-ro service between Marina di Carrara and Djen Djen, Algeria. This service, developed alongside CNAN Med, began regular operations following successful test calls in late 2025, transporting wheeled and unitized goods supported by integrated customs and logistics services.
