Grenoble INP - UGA announces new leadership appointments

Grenoble INP - UGA is undergoing leadership transitions aimed at strengthening the links between research, education, and economic innovation.

Emmanuel Perrin has been appointed Director of Grenoble INP - Esisar, UGA, effective January 2026. His strategy focuses on evolving the school’s expertise in electronics and intelligent, secure systems, including cybersecurity. Perrin aims to leverage the school’s ecosystem of research and technology transfer while maintaining international partnerships and innovative pedagogical methods, such as industrial project simulations.

Additionally, Gaëlle Calvary has been elected Vice-President of Research at Grenoble INP - UGA by the Scientific Council. She will hold this position alongside her current role as Vice-President of Innovation. A professor of computer science specializing in human-digital system interactions, Calvary intends to use her dual role to bridge the gap between academic laboratories and economic actors, driving regional development through scientific research.
