Gresini Racing runs only Alex Márquez at German MotoGP after Aldeguer injury

Gresini Racing announced that it will field only Alex Márquez at the MotoGP German Grand Prix at the Sachsenring, leaving its second bike unused. The decision follows rider Fermín Aldeguer’s injury, suffered during testing at Assen, where a fall caused a T7 vertebra fracture and chest and back pain. Aldeguer will miss the Sachsenring round and the team confirmed that no substitute rider will be appointed.

The team shared the update on its social‑media channels, noting that the Spanish rider will continue his recovery and that the Italian‑based squad will compete with a single entry for the weekend.
