Narnia: The Magician's Nephew reveals first images of Daniel Craig and Emma Mackey

First-look images and details have been released for Greta Gerwig’s upcoming Netflix adaptation, ‘Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew’. The production features Daniel Craig as the ambitious Andrew Ketterley and Emma Mackey as Jadis, the character who eventually becomes the White Witch. Mackey’s portrayal includes a striking metallic glam-rock aesthetic, a visual choice that has sparked debate among fans regarding its departure from traditional imagery.

New imagery also showcases the ‘Wood Between the Worlds’, a mystical woodland containing pools that connect different universes, and Strawberry the horse. The film, which serves as a prequel to the original Narnia series, is set in the 1950s rather than the early 20th century. Meryl Streep is set to provide the voice for Aslan. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release in February, followed by a Netflix debut on April 2.
