In Hungarian cultural news, Réka Pelsőczy, an award-winning actress and director, has been appointed as the artistic director of the Budaörsi Latinovits Theatre. Having worked with the company for nearly a decade, Pelsőczy returns to the leadership role after an eight-year interval. The theatre's director, Ádám Berzsenyi, announced that the upcoming season will feature a diverse program ranging from world literature classics to contemporary productions, including a new series focused on open discourse regarding harassment in the theatrical world.
