Gretchen shows recovery after hair transplant in Brazil

Brazilian singer Gretchen, diagnosed with aggressive alopecia, posted a video from São Paulo showing her post‑operative recovery after a hair‑transplant surgery performed on Monday (3) in Vitória, Espírito Santo. She shaved her entire scalp, as she preferred, and wears a headband to prevent swelling from spreading to her eyes and face. Gretchen said she has already completed her first wash and that surgeon Marcelo Moreira is monitoring her progress minute by minute.

The artist explained that she shared the entire process to encourage other women facing alopecia or hair loss due to cancer treatment, emphasizing that she chose a complete shave to ensure uniform growth.
