Greuther Fürth extends Omar Sillah's contract until 2028

SpVgg Greuther Fürth has exercised a club option to extend the contract of attacker Omar Sillah until at least June 30, 2028. The decision follows the 23-year-old's impactful performances in the 2. Bundesliga.

Sporting Director Daniel Meyer stated that the move signals the club's strong conviction in Sillah's continued development. Despite inquiries from other clubs during the summer, Greuther Fürth chose to retain the player, noting his high statistical standing in scouting analyses.

Head coach Heiko Vogel praised Sillah's work ethic and role as a ‘super-sub,’ noting that the player has been substituted into every league match so far this season. Sillah recently contributed a crucial goal in a 1-1 draw against VfL Bochum.
