Grevena fraud: Impersonators steal €108,000 from 25-year-old

Fraudsters posing as employees of the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) have stolen approximately €108,000 from a 25-year-old woman in the Grevena region of Greece.

Police are investigating the incident and suspect the perpetrators may be linked to a similar fraud committed in the village of Karpero, Grevena, a few months ago. Authorities believe the scammers had previously gathered the victim's personal information to facilitate the deception. The Grevena Police Directorate is currently collecting witness testimonies and descriptions of the individuals involved to identify the group.
