The Turkish comedy film ‘Görevimiz Tatil’, directed by Murat Şeker, follows the Mutlu family as they attempt to escape the monotony of city life. Following advice from a therapist, the family embarks on a budget-friendly vacation in an old caravan, heading toward Antalya. However, after experiencing various mishaps and mechanical failures, they find themselves in the fictional Yavaşlar Village.

While the village name is fictional, the film’s rural scenes were shot in the Birgi neighborhood of the Ödemiş district and the surrounding Bayındır area in İzmir, utilizing the region's historical mansions and natural Aegean atmosphere. The urban portions of the film, including scenes involving the family's home and professional lives, were filmed in Istanbul.

The film stars Demet Akbağ and Zafer Algöz, focusing on the comedic interactions between the city-dwelling family and the local villagers as the family works to strengthen their bonds.
