GreyOrange expands physical AI technology to 3,800 retail stores

GreyOrange has announced that its technology is now active in more than 3,800 retail locations globally. The company provides AI-powered warehouse orchestration and store inventory software, including the gStore platform used by major retailers such as H&M Group.

The gStore platform utilizes sensor-agnostic technology, including RFID readers and smart mirrors, to track approximately 200 million inventory items. The system can locate specific items within three to five feet and provides retailers with real-time inventory “heat maps.” This data helps staff replenish shelves, identify fast-selling SKUs, and monitor products abandoned in fitting rooms.

GreyOrange currently operates a fleet of 130,000 hardware- and software-based agents across various stores and warehouses. The company's partnership with H&M Group includes the deployment of the GreyMatter warehouse orchestration platform in North American distribution centers and the implementation of gStore across hundreds of retail locations on three continents.
