Grgo Dominik Anzulović wins Croatian javelin title

Grgo Dominik Anzulović, a 19-year-old member of Atletski klub Fortius, won the Croatian national title in javelin throw at the championships for younger seniors and seniors held in Zagreb. Anzulović secured the gold medal with a winning throw of 56.13 meters achieved in the third series.

This victory marks the 19th individual gold medal for AK Fortius in 2026, setting a new club record for the most gold medals in a single season. The club has now amassed a total of 219 individual national medals since its inception, 80 of which are gold. In the 2026 season alone, the club has earned 38 medals, half of which are gold.

Other participants from the club included junior Croatian champion Noa Stipić, who placed fifth in the long jump with a distance of 6.64 meters.
