Grid Delivery Summit announced for Berlin to address European energy infrastructure

The inaugural Grid Delivery Summit is scheduled to take place at Messe Berlin on April 27 and 28, 2027. Co-located with CWIEME Berlin, the event aims to address the practical challenges of expanding Europe’s energy infrastructure, moving beyond strategy to focus on actual project execution.

The summit intends to bring together a diverse ecosystem, including utilities, transmission and distribution system operators (TSOs and DSOs), EPC contractors, transformer manufacturers, and technology providers. Discussions will cover critical issues such as infrastructure investment, transformer availability, manufacturing capacity, supply chain resilience, and the integration of AI and digitalization into the grid.

Organizers noted that grid expansion requires collaboration across the entire value chain, connecting those planning the future grid with the manufacturers and suppliers building the necessary equipment to meet rising electrification targets and energy demands.
