GridStor secures $220 million for Arizona battery project
GridStor has secured $220 million in financing to support the development of its White Tank battery energy storage project in Maricopa County, Arizona. The funding package includes tax equity bridge, construction, and term debt.
Financial partners for the transaction include ING Capital, KeyBank, and Zions Capital Markets. The 100 MW/400 MWh facility is scheduled to enter service during the first half of 2027.
The project will operate under a 20-year tolling agreement with Arizona Public Service (APS), which provides energy to approximately 1.4 million homes and businesses.
