Grigoris Arnaoutoglou calls George Liagkas’ follow‑up remarks “rude”

Greek television host Grigoris Arnaoutoglou accused fellow ANT1 presenter George Liagkas of acting ruderly by revisiting a debate the day after Arnaoutoglou’s phone‑call interruption on the morning show “Το Πρωινό”. Arnaoutoglou said the discussion had already been concluded on air and that Liagkas should not have continued the topic without him being present, describing the move as “almost tragic”. He reiterated his view that a conversation ends when the participants finish speaking and should not be pursued unilaterally.

Arnaoutoglou also used the occasion to comment on the balance between entertainment and information on Greek TV, noting his preference for entertainment and warning of an “inequality” with news content. He confirmed he will remain with ANT1 for the next season, hosting shows such as “The 2Night Show”, “Ο Εκατομμυριούχος”, and “Roadshow”. Other commentators, including presenter Sissy Chrystidou, weighed in, generally siding with Liagkas on programme content while acknowledging Arnaoutoglou’s point about the propriety of the follow‑up.
