Grigoris Arnautoglou discusses mental health and recovery
Greek presenter Grigoris Arnautoglou has opened up about his personal struggles with depression and mental health during an appearance on the program ‘Studio sti 3’. Speaking in connection with his photography exhibition titled ‘Light’, Arnautoglou discussed his decision to focus on color and light as a response to the perceived monotony of daily life.
Arnautoglou revealed that he sought professional psychiatric help during a period of intense unhappiness and psychological pain. He credited a combination of psychotherapy and medication as essential to his recovery, stating that treatment helped him ‘stand on my feet’ again. He noted that through therapy, he realized he had been systematically undervaluing himself and struggling with an excessive need for external validation.
Reflecting on his journey, the presenter described how he learned to view failure as a tool for renewal and humility rather than a source of fear. He encouraged others facing similar struggles to seek medical assistance, noting that many live with depression without realizing it or fear seeking professional help.
