Grillpia Ikebukuro to host almond-themed BBQ festival

Grillpia Links Ikebukuro, a large rooftop BBQ facility in Tokyo, will host the "Almond-Rich BBQ Fest" from August 9 to October 9, 2026. The event focuses on "inner care" for sun protection by incorporating foods rich in Vitamin E.

Developed in collaboration with ice cream researcher Shizulina Arai, the festival features menus centered on almonds and almond milk to provide antioxidant benefits during outdoor summer activities. Signature dishes include chicken aged in almond milk, beef ribs coated in crushed almonds, and a shaved ice dessert made from 100% almond milk.

In cooperation with Ezaki Glico Co., Ltd., the event will also offer unlimited servings of three types of almond milk drinks. The facility, located directly connected to Ikebukuro Station, provides a resort-like atmosphere for diners looking to enjoy summer leisure while managing UV exposure through nutrition.
