Grindr reports Q2 2026 revenue beat despite EPS miss

Grindr reported second-quarter 2026 earnings that missed consensus estimates for earnings per share (EPS). The company reported an EPS of $0.10, falling $0.06 short of the $0.16 expected by analysts. However, revenue exceeded expectations, reaching $138.14 million compared to the estimated $132.50 million.

Despite the EPS miss, Grindr noted strong year-over-year growth, with Q2 revenue increasing 33% and adjusted EBITDA rising 27% to $58 million. The company raised its 2026 outlook, projecting approximately $540 million in revenue and $232 million in adjusted EBITDA.

Key drivers included a 30% increase in core app revenue and a 44% increase in advertising revenue. Management also highlighted the role of AI in increasing engineering productivity and cited the development of products like EDGE and Maps as significant future growth drivers.
