Gripen Trollhättan BK qualifies for Svenska Cupen semifinals

Gripen Trollhättan BK has qualified for the Svenska Cupen playoffs for the first time following a 4-2 away victory against VSK. Despite VSK having more possession and scoring a penalty in the 47th minute via Jaakko Hyvönen, Gripen secured the win with goals from Philip Florén and Artem Savelyev. Tim Persson sealed the result in the 89th minute. Gripen is scheduled to face Bollnäs in the semifinal on October 3.

In other Svenska Cupen group stage action, Edsbyn prepares for their final match against Broberg. Edsbyn requires only one point to advance to the playoff stage in Bollnäs, scheduled for the weekend of October 3-4. The club is also evaluating earlier match start times to better accommodate youth and children in attendance.
