Gărâna Folk Festival 2026 wraps up with concerts and charity donations
The 19th edition of the Gărâna Folk Festival was held from 24 to 26 July 2026 in Poiana Lupului, at the “La Scena” complex in the Gărâna mountain area of Caraș‑Severin, Romania. The three‑day event featured a mix of veteran folk performers – including Mircea Vintilă, Ducu Bertzi and Mircea Baniciu & Band – alongside newer artists such as Teo Boar, Vlady Cnejevici, Narcisa Suciu and others.
A charitable component was built into the festival: a portion of every ticket sold was donated to the Save the Children organization to support its activities in Caraș‑Severin county. Organisers indicated that the 20th edition will return to Poiana Lupului next year.
