Gründau bicycle path closed after illegal waste dumping

A large amount of waste was illegally dumped on a bicycle path between Gettenbach and Lieblos during the night leading into Friday. The municipality of Gründau has completely closed the affected section of the path to all users due to an acute risk of injury.

The local regulatory police have launched an investigation and are currently evaluating numerous pieces of information regarding the incident. Authorities have requested that anyone who made suspicious observations in the area between Lieblos and Gettenbach contact the Gründau regulatory office.

Removing the waste will require significant effort, as the materials must be inspected and professionally sorted before final disposal. The municipality condemned the act, noting that such reckless behavior endangers others and imposes avoidable costs on the community.
