Gründau Landfrauenverein to host literary hike

The Landfrauenverein Gründau has announced a literary hike titled ‘Heimat – unterwegs in hessischen Regionen’ scheduled for October 3, 2026. The event will begin at 2:00 PM at the Bergkirche in Niedergründau.

The approximately 5.5-kilometer panoramic loop will feature readings by local author Peter Völker, who will present texts exploring various perspectives on the concept of ‘home’. The route includes information boards detailing regional history, landscape, and culture. The hike concludes with coffee and cake, though the event is subject to cancellation in the event of heavy rain.
