Grünenthal and DKSH partner to expand pain medicines in Asia-Pacific

Grünenthal and DKSH Business Unit Healthcare have entered a partnership agreement to expand the availability of four pain management medicines across eight Asia-Pacific markets. The medicines included in the deal are Qutenza®, Vimovo®, Palexia®, and Zomig®.

The expansion targets Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. The initiative aims to address significant healthcare challenges in the region, such as aging populations and high burdens of chronic disease.

Under the terms of the agreement, DKSH will manage commercialization, including seeking local marketing authorizations and handling marketing, medical, market access, sales, and distribution. Grünenthal will remain responsible for manufacturing the medicines through its global network. The rollout is subject to local regulatory approvals in each respective market.
