Górnik Zabrze faces player transfer offer and coaching speculation

Górnik Zabrze is considering a move for striker Theodoros Tsirigotis, who has received a concrete offer from the Greek club Athens Kallithea. The 26-year-old Greek forward, who returned to the club after a loan in Finland, has struggled to secure a starting position under coach Michal Gasparik.

Tsirigotis previously saw significant success in Greece, scoring 21 league goals for Iraklis Thessaloniki during the 2024/25 season. While Górnik Zabrze is open to a loan to ensure the player receives regular playing time, the final decision rests with the athlete.

Separately, Górnik Zabrze coach Michal Gasparik addressed speculation regarding his future following the team's rise to first place in the Ekstraklasa. Gasparik stated he has not had discussions regarding a departure and noted that his current contract does not include a release clause.
