Grobogan to return Independence Day carnival to two-day format

The Grobogan Regency carnival celebrating Indonesia's 81st Independence Day will return to a two-day format next year. This follows a single-day schedule implemented this year due to construction projects near the carnival routes, including areas around the Pendopo, Jalan Kartini, and Jalan Taman Siswa.

Purwodadi District Head Tondi Sumarjaka stated that the upcoming two-day event will be divided into specific categories: one day dedicated to school participants (TK, SD, and PAUD) and a second day for the general public. This restructuring aims to manage the event more effectively and avoid disruptions caused by ongoing infrastructure developments.
