Grobogan wedding goes viral over Rp2 billion dowry including excavator

A wedding in Ketro Village, Karangrayung District, Grobogan Regency, Central Java, has gained widespread attention on social media due to an extraordinary dowry. The groom, Rico Roberto Syah, a contractor, provided a dowry valued at approximately Rp2 billion.

The unique gift package included a new excavator worth Rp400 million, two luxury cars (a GWM Tank 300 and a Honda Brio), two motorcycles (a Vespa and a dirt bike), and various household appliances such as furniture and a washing machine. The convoy, which included towing trucks for the heavy equipment and vehicles, was escorted by the Grobogan Police traffic unit.

Rico stated that the excavator was purchased specifically as a surprise for his bride, Laela Nur Fadhilah, and is intended to serve as a productive asset to support the couple's future livelihood and household needs.
