Groene Ster loses 1-3 to RBC in season opener

Groene Ster suffered a 1-3 defeat against RBC in their Derde Divisie B season opener. RBC established an early lead with two goals in the first half, scored by Jelte Pal and Wesley Spieringhs.

Despite the deficit, Groene Ster showed resilience in the second half. Jop Bleijlevens scored a header to bring the score to 1-2, but the comeback attempt was hampered when Joris de Kleijn received a second yellow card, leaving Groene Ster with ten men. Despite hitting the woodwork twice, Groene Ster was unable to secure a draw.
