Grok Bot integrates with iPhone Action Button for voice chat

SpaceXAI has announced that its AI agent, Grok Bot, can now be integrated with the iPhone Action Button. Starting with version 1.16, users with compatible devices—such as the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max—can configure the physical button to initiate a direct voice chat with the bot without needing to open the application first.

According to a demonstration shared on X, the voice interaction is displayed via the Dynamic Island, mimicking a phone call interface with controls for muting and ending the session. Within iOS settings, users can choose from several options for the Action Button, including viewing a bot overview, sending a message, or starting a direct voice chat.

The update follows recent improvements to Grok Bot, which included enhanced email support, additional connectors, and faster voice call capabilities.
