Recent incidents include the discovery and disposal of an explosive device near Spieghelstraat on August 10, followed by an explosion and gunfire at a residence on Multatulistraat on August 13. Local political representatives have raised alarms regarding a perceived sense of insecurity, citing reports of drug dealing, intimidation at playgrounds, and potential criminal settlements within the neighborhood.
