Grosseto concludes public consultation for new Operational Plan
The Municipality of Grosseto has concluded its “Grosseto è Partecipazione” initiative, a series of four meetings held between September 21 and October 26 to discuss the city's new Operational Plan. The sessions drew over 100 participants, including citizens, professionals, trade unions, economic operators, and representatives from the third sector.
The discussions focused on eight strategic themes for the development of Grosseto and its surrounding districts: productive activities, tourism, rural areas, urban greenery, mobility, space regeneration, and building heritage. Each meeting included data presentations regarding the Structural Plan, provided by the company Simurg and the municipal urban planning office, followed by thematic working groups.
Mayor Antonfrancesco Vivarelli Colonna stated that public participation is a fundamental element in shaping the city's future, noting that listening to those who live and work in the territory enriches the administration's work with diverse perspectives and priorities.
