Grosseto court trial addresses alleged abuse of elderly man

A 53-year-old woman is facing trial in Grosseto for alleged domestic abuse and aggravated personal injury against her 81-year-old husband, a retired marshal. According to prosecutors, the victim lived in a state of fear and humiliation within their shared home.

The legal proceedings, which began following an arrest in February 2025, have expanded to include investigations into unauthorized entries into the elderly man's home to retrieve documents. During a recent hearing before Judge Sergio Compagnucci, the victim's legal counsel requested the inclusion of specific witness statements and testimonies into the trial record.
