Grosseto establishes new cooperation protocol with Ulcinj, Montenegro
The Municipality of Grosseto has established a new channel of collaboration with Montenegro through a signed protocol of friendship and cooperation with the city of Ulcinj. The agreement, signed by City Council President Fausto Turbanti on behalf of Mayor Antonfrancesco Vivarelli Colonna, aims to foster long-term institutional relations.
The partnership focuses on several key sectors, including culture, tourism, sports, education, training, and the promotion of local identities. During the mission to Montenegro, the Grosseto delegation also met with officials in Podgorica, including former Prime Minister Dritan Abazović and Boris Mugoša, President of the Commission for Economy, Finance, and Budget, to discuss the role of local administrations in building new economic and cultural ties.
Additionally, the delegation met with the Italian Ambassador to Montenegro, Laura Egoli, to discuss how local territories can contribute to the broader relations between Italy and Montenegro through institutional and economic exchanges.
