Grosseto hosts Beauty Week and missionary mission events

The Diocese of Grosseto, in collaboration with Fondazione Crocevia, is launching the 11th edition of Beauty Week. The event opens on October 24 at the Church of San Francesco with a presentation by Fra’ Roberto Pasolini, a Capuchin friar and preacher for the Pontifical House. His talk, titled “Enough small to live and to die. Francis and the grace of limits,” explores themes of fragility and the legacy of Saint Francis of Assisi.

Additionally, the parish of Santa Lucia will host a mission day on October 25. Seven young Franciscan Youth members will share their experiences from a recent three-week missionary work camp in Tanzania. The group worked at the Mlali Center for disabled children, a facility managed by Capuchin friars and Tanzanian sisters that provides surgical interventions and rehabilitation for families from across the region.
