Grosuplje expands sports and children's playgrounds

The Municipality of Grosuplje has implemented a series of investments to renovate and establish new sports and children's playgrounds over the last four years. These developments aim to provide more space for recreation, sports, and social interaction, specifically targeting the quality of leisure time for children and youth.

Key projects include the creation of a fitness island and a nature playground at Koščakov hrib, the latter of which cost approximately 110,000 euros with funding provided by the European Union and the state. Other developments have expanded beyond the town center to peripheral areas, including new facilities in Brinje, Velika Stara vas, and Velika Ilova Gora. In June 2024, the Grosuplje Sports Park was opened in Brezje pri Grosupljem, featuring a significant pump track.
