Grottammare, Italy draws tourists as cheap flights to the country become available
Grottammare, a medieval town perched on a hill in the Marche region of Italy, offers visitors panoramic views of the Adriatic coast, historic streets, and local culinary specialties such as olive Ascolana, brodetto alla sanbenedettese, and regional cheeses. Key attractions include the Loggia on Piazza Peretti, the churches of St. Martin and St. Lucia, and the Teatro dell'Arancio.
At the same time, low‑cost airlines Ryanair and Wizz Air are offering direct flights from Polish cities—Katowice, Kraków and Warsaw—to various Italian destinations for as little as 121 PLN in October. The offers, promoted by the travel‑deal site Fly4free, aim to make short Italian getaways more affordable for Polish travelers.
