Ground Zero Hero launches on PC and consoles

The roguelike survival game Ground Zero Hero has launched on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Developed by Rowan Edmondson and published by Acclaim, Inc., the title features a hand-drawn art style inspired by animated series such as The Simpsons and Rick & Morty.

Players navigate a post-apocalyptic wasteland, fighting hordes of mutants and absorbing radioactive elements to unlock new mutations. The developer, Edmondson, spent three years managing nearly all aspects of production, including programming, art, and music.

Early purchase discounts are available: console players can receive a 10% discount until August 27, while Steam users can access a 15% discount until September 3, 2026. The game is also available for streaming on Antstream Arcade and can be played on Polycade modular arcade cabinets.
