Group 764 international extortion network traced to teenage founder
Group 764, an international nihilistic violent extremism movement, has been identified as a significant threat by multiple states. The network originated from the computer of 15-year-old Bradley Cadenhead in Stephenville, Texas. Cadenhead, who cited school bullying as a personal influence, was convicted in 2023 in Erath County District Court for the possession and distribution of child pornography and sentenced to 80 years in prison.
Investigators from the Spanish National Police note that the group lacks a central controlling entity; instead, it functions as a decentralized community where many youths mimic Cadenhead’s criminal patterns. The group's primary objective is not economic gain, but rather the emotional and moral destruction of minors under the age of 17. The movement has left a trail of violence across Spain and throughout Europe, utilizing platforms such as Discord to facilitate its activities.
