Groupe Maurice and Collège de Saint-Maurice announce major construction projects
In Varennes, Canada, Groupe Maurice has announced that construction for a new senior residence (RPA) is expected to begin this autumn or in early 2027. The project, located at the Galeries Varennes site on René-Gaultier, will feature approximately 400 residential units and modern common areas. While the project faced a four-year pause, officials stated it remains active as they work to meet necessary conditions for realization. An interest list is currently available for prospective residents.
In Saint-Maurice, Switzerland, authorities have officially launched a major renovation and expansion project for the Collège de Saint-Maurice. The 85-million-franc initiative includes upgrading existing structures and constructing two new sports halls, with completion expected by summer 2028. Further renovations to the Lycée-Collège are slated for completion by summer 2032, including the creation of a new pavilion for laboratories and documentation centers.
