Grove City Christian Schools student founds healthcare career club
Lucia Guardia-Perez, a senior at Grove City Christian Schools, has founded a Health Career Club to provide students with insights into medical professions. Inspired by her parents' work in healthcare and her own experience managing lupus, Guardia-Perez and her brother, Pablo, established the club to bridge knowledge gaps regarding medical career paths.
The club facilitates learning by inviting field experts, such as emergency room and gastrointestinal nurses, to discuss their career trajectories with students. Additionally, members participate in community service, including hosting American Red Cross blood drives.
