Reliance Industries Q1 FY27 profit falls 22% as revenue rises 25%
Reliance Industries Limited reported consolidated net profit of ₹20,946 crore for the June quarter, a 22 percent year‑on‑year decline, while revenue surged 25 percent to ₹3.11 lakh crore. EBITDA grew 10 percent to ₹54,067 crore, beating market expectations. The Oil‑to‑Chemicals segment posted a 30 percent revenue jump, driven by higher crude‑oil prices and strong middle‑distillate cracks. Digital services arm Jio Platforms saw revenue rise 12 percent to ₹45,961 crore and EBITDA increase 15 percent, with average revenue per user climbing to ₹215.6. "Reliance has made a steady start to FY27, with all businesses delivering strong operating performance," chairman Mukesh Ambani said, adding that Jio filed its draft prospectus with SEBI, a step toward a public listing. Retail and consumer‑products divisions also posted double‑digit growth. The results underscore the conglomerate’s diversified strength despite volatile global energy markets.
